Injuries Reported in Ferndale Auto Accident on I-5 and Main Street
FERNDALE, WA (December 2, 2022) – Monday afternoon, two people suffered injuries in a two-vehicle crash on I-5 and Main Street.
The incident happened at around 4:45 p.m. on northbound I-5 off-ramp at the Main Street interchange.
Washington State Patrol Trooper Kelsey Harding confirmed that the crash involved two cars.
Meanwhile, Whatcom County Fire District 7 Division Chief Ben Boyko revealed that there were 2 cars in the initial collision. Then, a 3rd vehicle failed to avoid colliding with them.
Thus, responders took 2 patients from the scene to PeaceHealth St Joseph Medical Center. A responder took 1 via a medic unit via advanced life support (ALS) protocol and the other via ambulance via basic life support (BLS) protocol.
