PLEASANTON, CA (February 17, 2022) – Monday morning, two people suffered injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Hopyard Road near Clorox Way.

According to reports, a northbound vehicle on Hopyard Road sideswiped another vehicle near Clorox Way. As a result, the second vehicle crashed.
 
“The driver and passenger of the vehicle were transported to Eden Hospital with critical injuries. Meanwhile, the other driver was uninjured and remained on scene,” Sgt. Marty Billdt said. “Details of what caused the collision, including whether alcohol and/or drugs were a factor, remain under investigation.”
 
Also, the incident shut down lanes on Hopyard Road from approximately 7:00 a.m. to noon.
