MODESTO, CA (December 2, 2021) – Tuesday afternoon, two people sustained injuries in a police vehicle crash on Highway 99 near Kiernan Avenue.
According to California Highway Patrol Sgt. Roberto Iniguez, the incident happened at around 1:30 p.m. Moreover, it occurred on Highway 99 near Kiernan Avenue.
Reports revealed that an eastbound Acura struck a northbound cruiser that pulled into the exit’s intersection.
Moreover, officials confirmed that the 37-year-old female driver of the Acura sustained a small cut on her right hand. Also, she complained of shoulder pains. Meanwhile, the on-duty Stanislaus County sheriff’s deputy driving the cruiser sustained minor injuries in the crash. Both patients received treatment at the scene and didn’t require hospitalization.
