Injuries Reported in Temecula Auto Accident on Highway 79 and Anza Road
TEMECULA, CA (June 14, 2022) – Monday afternoon, two people suffered injuries in a motor home crash on Highway 79 and Anza Road.
The crash occurred at around 4:40 p.m. on the eastbound side of Highway 79 and Anza Road.
According to reports, the RV veered off the two-lane highway and crashed into a tree. Meanwhile, officers confirmed that the incident involved no other vehicles.
When the Riverside County Fire Department arrived, they extricated two occupants. One of them suffered critical injuries while the other sustained moderate injuries.
At this time, the authorities haven’t disclosed the identity of the parties involved.
Meanwhile, the CHP officers closed both sides of the highway between Anza and Meadows Parkway to accommodate a Reach Air helicopter.
Eventually, the helicopter landed and transported one patient at 5:40 p.m. Then, an ambulance took the other patient to the same hospital.
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continue to investigate the crash.
