2 Hospitalized in Victorville Traffic Accident on Highway 395 near Mojave Drive
VICTORVILLE, CA (February 9, 2023) – Tuesday night, two people sustained injuries in a car crash on Highway 395 near Mojave Drive.
The incident happened on northbound Highway 395 near Mojave Drive.
According to reports, a dark-colored vehicle failed to top on time and rear-ended a big rig. The force of the crash pushed the vehicle underneath the big rig, more than halfway thru.
Moreover, responding firefighters rushed to the scene and extricated two occupants of the vehicle using specialized equipment. Then, paramedics transported the female driver of the vehicle with critical injuries. Also, they transported a female passenger with unknown injuries to a hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, the big rig driver suffered no injuries in the crash.
Furthermore, officers closed all northbound lanes of the highway to give way to the responders.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
Meanwhile, the fatal crash remained under investigation.
