Injuries Reported in Corona Multi-Vehicle Accident on 91 Freeway and 71 Freeway
CORONA, CA (March 22, 2022) – Monday morning, two people suffered injuries in a three-vehicle crash on 91 Freeway and 71 Freeway.
The incident occurred at around 10:40 a.m. on the westbound 91 Freeway to the northbound 71 Freeway.
According to reports, two seniors in a sedan sustained injuries after their vehicle, another car, and a pickup impacted at the location. However, the circumstances that have led up to the crash remain unclear.
Corona Fire Department crews confirmed that the two seniors needed hospitalization. Thus, responders took them to a Riverside medical facility with unspecified minor to moderate injuries.
At this time, the authorities haven’t disclosed any other injuries.
Furthermore, the crash initially shut down both lanes of the transition bridge. Then, CHP officers and Corona police officers moved traffic around the crash site and reopen a short time later.
