Crash at 6th Street and G Street in Eureka Injures Pedestrian and Driver
EUREKA, CA (September 9, 2019) — A crash at 6th Street and G Street in Eureka injured a pedestrian and a driver Tuesday morning.
The Eureka police said a Subaru was westbound on 6th Street when it veered off the roadway. It then struck a pedestrian who was stepping off the curb at the intersection with G Street. After that, the vehicle slammed into a building and a parking sign.
The pedestrian and the woman driving the Subaru sustained minor injuries. Emergency responders transported both of them to a hospital.
The officers said it appeared that impairment was not a factor in the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
