Coronado Bridge Crash Injures 2 People, Stalls Traffic
CORONADO, CA (July 16, 2019) – Two people suffered injuries in a Coronado Bridge crash Sunday afternoon.
Authorities said the incident involved three vehicles. It occurred at about 1:50 p.m. in the westbound lanes leading into Coronado.
Paramedics transported both injured parties to the hospital. In addition, the crash prompted the closure of the westbound lanes. However, after 45 minutes the lanes reopened.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the accident. However, police did not release any additional information regarding the accident at this time.
