2 Hurt in Santa Maria Car Accident
SANTA MARIA, CA (April 5, 2019) – Two people suffered injuries in a two-vehicle collision on Lakeview Road, just east of Highway 135.
Dispatchers responded to the accident around 1:40 p.m. The collision was allegedly between a white van and a blue sedan. However, the events leading up to the incident are currently unclear.
American Medical Response, California Highway Patrol and Santa Maria Fire Department all responded to the collision. Due to the impact, firefighters had to extricate one occupant inside the blue sedan upon arrival.
Two occupants were suffering from injuries following the crash. However, the identities of the injured victims have not been given. There have also been no updates released regarding their current condition.
Furthermore, authorities consequently closed Lakeview Road as a result of the accident. More details will eventually be released once available.
