2 Hurt in San Diego Car Accident on Highland Avenue
SAN DIEGO, CA (August 22, 2019) – Two diners sustained injuries after a car crashed into a Vietnamese Eatery on Highland Avenue on August 22.
According to authorities, a four-door Lexus sedan crashed into Pho 7 Cow in the 1000 block of Highland Avenue after 2:00 p.m. The driver accidentally accelerated forward instead of in reverse heading out of a parking space.
NCFD Battalion Chief Robert Hernandez revealed that the car rammed through a ground-to-ceiling window. The sedan hit a booth where three adults ate.
Medical responders transported the two diners to a trauma center with minor to moderately serious injuries. In addition, emergency personnel evaluated the third victim at the scene by emergency personnel. However, that person declined further hospital care.
Furthermore, the two occupants of the vehicle didn’t suffer any injury.
After an evaluation of the multi-tenant struck, it would require no repairs beyond replacement of the shattered window.
