Two Hospitalized after Spokane Car Accident
SPOKANE, WA (February 22, 2019) – A person sustained serious injuries following a car accident that closed Highway 291 on February 20.
The incident was reported at 6:13 p.m. and both lanes remained shut down by 9:00 p.m. The schedule of its opening is still unidentified as of this time.
According to WSP Trooper Jeff Sevigney’s tweet, the driver who’s suspected of causing the collision sustained life-threatening injuries. The other driver sustained injuries that are not life-threatening. The two drivers were taken to an area hospital.
The cause of the collision is still being investigated.
