2 Hurt in San Diego Car Collision
SAN DIEGO, CA (January 3, 2020) – Two people sustained injuries in a big rig and car collision on Highway 94 on January 2.
The incident occurred before 10:00 a.m. on the connector from westbound Highway 94 to southbound 15 Freeway.
The emergency crews freed the driver of the passenger vehicle from the wreckage, spokeswoman for the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department Monica Munoz said. Medical responders transported the motorist and a second person to Scripps Mercy Hospital. One of them was admitted for treatment of major trauma and the other for minor injuries.
The collision shut down the freeway ramp through late morning.
