2 Hurt in Palm Spings Car Accident on Palm Canyon Drive

 
PALM SPRINGS, CA (September 5, 2019) – Two people sustained serious injuries in a car accident on Pam Canyon Drive on September 3.
 
The crash involving two vehicles closed a busy Palm Springs road for multiple hours. The collision between an Infinite SUV and a Chevrolet pickup occurred after 11:00 a.m. on East Palm Canyon Drive and Farrell Drive.
 
According to Sgt. Arnold Galvan, the pickup drove north on Farrell Drive. Meanwhile, the SUV headed west on Palm Canyon Drive. The collision led the truck to land on its side.
 
Authorities ruled out drugs and alcohol as a factor in the crash.
 
The SUV’s driver sustained major injuries while the pickup driver suffered moderate injuries. Responders transported the two male drivers to Desert Regional Medical Center for treatment.
 
Palm Springs police shut down East Palm Canyon between Sunrise Way and Araby Drive during the investigation. By 3:00 p.m., the street reopened.
