2 Hurt in Lompoc Car Accident on Harris Grade Road
LOMPOC, CA (June 20, 2019) -Two people sustained injuries in a car accident on Harris Grade Road on June 19.
The crash happened shortly before 11:30 a.m. just north of the Lompoc Wye, on Harris Grade Road and Onstott Road.
According to Mike Eliason, a southbound Honda sedan on Harris Grade crashed with a Chevy HHR turning left from Onstott. Eliason is the Santa Barbara County Fire Department spokesman.
Responders took 15 minutes to free the female Chevy driver from the crash. Afterward, an AMR ambulance took her to Marian Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria.
Her identity and condition remain unavailable as of this time.
Meanwhile, the male Honda driver also suffered injuries.
County firefighters and crews from the Lompoc Fire Department both responded. The CHP is currently investigating the collision.
