2 Injured in Big Rig Crash on Interstate 405 [Tukwila, WA]

Tukwila, WA (June 5, 2024) – Two people were injured following a big rig crash on Interstate 405 early Tuesday morning.

It was about 5 a.m. when the collision happened at West Valley Highway wherein two cars became trapped under the big rig.

Troopers had to extricate one person from their car and were determined to have incurred serious injuries from the collision. They were transported to a hospital in Seattle.

Meanwhile, another patient was treated at the scene and transported to an area hospital by ambulance.

Drivers were asked to use alternate exits while officers were investigating.
