2 People Severely Injured in Santa Clara 2-Car Crash
SANTA CLARA, CA (May 09, 2019) – A two-vehicle crash in Santa Clara Wednesday morning left at least two people with major injuries.
The police said callers reported the crash at about 11 a.m. on Scott Boulevard at Jay Street. Officials closed Scott Boulevard between San Tomas Expressway and Space Park Drive while the investigation ensued. They reopened the roadway at about 4 p.m. According to Capt. Wahid Kazem, there was a lot of debris from the crash.
Meanwhile, the police are in contact with the hospital regarding the condition of the injured parties. Kazem said they appeared to have sustained major injuries when they were transported from the scene. A third person may also be involved in the crash. The incident is under investigation.
