Injuries Reported in Duenweg Auto Accident near East 7th Street and Pebble Road
DUENWEG, MO (November 12, 2024) – Sunday afternoon, a startling 2-vehicle crash near East 7th Street and Pebble Road injured 2.
The incident involving two vehicles happened just after 12:30 p.m. near East 7th Street and Pebble Road.
The Duenweg Fire Department, Jasper County Sheriff’s Deputies, and METS ambulance responded to the scene, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol was also notified.
At the site, authorities confirmed a two-vehicle t-bone collision. A 2009 Honda Pilot was struck on the driver’s side, requiring firefighters to free those trapped inside. Sgt. Brad Crockett from Troop D informed KOAM’s Shannon Becker that the incident occurred when a northbound 2013 pickup on Pebble Road turned west onto East 7th, colliding with a westbound SUV.
The impact sent the SUV off the road, knocking down a sign. Two adult women were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
