2 Injured in 2-Car Crash on Mariposa Road [Victorville, CA]

Victorville, CA (December 31, 2021)– On Thursday evening, 2 motorists were injured in a 2-car crash on Mariposa Road.

The Victorville Fire Department (VFD) says that the crash happened at about 5:40 p.m. near the S curve near Eucalyptus Street.

The VFD reports finding a female motorist seriously hurt in the wreck.

Moreover, the VFD says that when they arrive at the scene, they found the woman trapped inside her vehicle.

Additionally, rescuers say that another motorist was moderately injured due to the crash.

Meanwhile, firefighters spent 20 minutes rescuing the woman.

Furthermore, rescuers requested a medical airlift, but due to bad weather, helicopters were not able to assist in the rescue.
