2 Injured in Chandler Pedestrian Crash
CHANDLER, AZ (September 13, 2019) – Two people sustained injuries in a pedestrian accident on Arizona Avenue on September 11.
A vehicle struck two teens outside Chandler High School. According to the Chandler Fire Department, the crash occurred near Arizona Avenue and Erie Street about 5:15 p.m.
The Chandler Unified High School District confirmed that the pedestrians are students at Chandler High School.
One of the pedestrians sustained major injuries while the other suffered minor injuries.
It’s still unknown whether the driver remained at the scene or if the teens used a crosswalk during the crash.
