2 Injured in Mesa Multi-Vehicle Crash

 
MESA, AZ (September 18, 2019) – Two people sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle crash on University Drive on September 16.
 
The collision involving a motorcycle, a minivan and a tow truck happened on University Drive and Recker Road, near Main Street.
 
According to Sgt. Bryant Vanegas of the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, responders transported the seriously injured motorcyclist to a hospital. Vanegas added that responders also brought the minivan driver to the hospital. However, the extent of the minivan driver’s injuries is still unknown as of this time.
 
Meanwhile, the tow truck driver didn’t suffer any injury in the collision.
 
The crash remains under active investigation.
