2 Hospitalized in State Route 14 4-Vehicle Collision [Kennewick, WA]

2 People Hurt in SR14 4-Vehicle Traffic Accident

Kennewick, WA (June 30, 2022) On Thursday, at around 7:48 a.m. 2 people were injured in a 4-vehicle collision on State Route 14.

The Washington State Patrol (WSP) says the 4-vehicle traffic accident on SR-14. The crash involved a semi-truck, van, pickup truck, and a passenger car.

Reports say that a semi-truck driver did not see a stopped van on the roadway, and collided with the van.

Afterward, the impact caused the van to the eastbound lane and crashed with an oncoming pickup truck.

Meanwhile, the semi veered to the eastbound lane and struck a passenger vehicle.

Paramedics transported a 22-year-old Kennewick man on the van and a 56-year-old man from Idaho driving the pickup to Trios Health Southridge Hospital.

Moreover, officials say that the semi-truck driver will be facing a second-degree negligent driving charge.
