19-Year-Old Woman Arrested after San Marcos DUI Accident near Melrose Drive
SAN MARCOS, CA (February 26, 2020) – Monday evening, two people were hospitalized after a DUI multi-vehicle accident on Rancho Santa Fe Road.
San Diego County Sheriff’s Department revealed that the four-vehicle accident happened around 7:45 p.m., on South Rancho Santa Fe Road near Melrose Drive. However, the events leading up are currently unclear.
The DUI driver and one other occupant were sent to local hospitals for further treatment of serious injuries. However, their current condition has not yet been updated.
Responders took the DUI driver to Palomar Medical Center. Meanwhile, the other patient was transported to Scripps Memorial Hospital in Encinitas.
Authorities later booked the female DUI driver into the Vista Detention Facility on suspicion of DUI and felony child endangerment.
