2 Injured in Bakersfield Car Crash on Union Avenue
BAKERSFIELD, CA (February 18, 2020) – Two people were hospitalized after a DUI crash on Union Avenue on February 12th.
The incident occurred on Union Avenue and Brundage Lane just before 7:00 p.m.
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, Kenneth Johnson drove his truck down the street when he collided with a white Chevrolet Camaro. The impact of the collision sent the Camaro slamming into a third car.
Responders transported the driver of the Camaro to a nearby hospital with moderate injuries. Meanwhile, the person in the third car didn’t sustain any injuries.
Responders also took Kenneth Johnson to a local hospital for treatment. Afterwards, the police detained him on suspicion of driving under the influence.
