Hit-And-Run Crash Injures 2 Motorcyclists on US 101 Freeway

 
Santa Maria, CA (June 26, 2020) – On Thursday, 2 motorcyclists were injured in a crash on the US 101 freeway near Donovan Road.
 
The accident happened at around 10:00 p.m. when a vehicle struck their motorcycle on the southbound lanes of the US 101.
 
Rescuers rushed 2 people to the hospital due to moderate injuries. CHP said the victims were conscious when emergency personnel responded.
 
Apparently, multiple vehicles pulled over on the freeway to assist the injured motorcyclists.
 
Meanwhile, the rescuers temporarily closed the Donovan offramp around 10:05 p.m.
 
The CHP Incident Information Page classified the crash as a hit and run case.
 
Moreover, the officers investigating the incident said the vehicle that struck the motorcycle should be noticeable. It has a damaged bumper and some missing parts due to the crash.
