Driver Cited after Accident near Highway 65
DE BEQUE, CO (June 17, 2018) – Two people were hospitalized after a car crashes into Plateau Creek off Highway 65, late Sunday afternoon.
The incident occurred at around 4:30 PM, a few miles down Highway 65 near the 70 Freeway. According to the Colorado State Patrol, the unidentified female driver was headed southbound on the highway, before she veered off and drove into the creek. She was cited for careless driving.
Both the driver and a male passenger were sent to a nearby hospital after the incident with unknown injuries. Their current condition and identities have not yet been released to the public. No further details were immediately disclosed.
