2 Injured in Phoenix Car Crash
PHOENIX, AZ (November 18, 2019) – Two people required hospitalization after a car crash on 19th Avenue on November 15.
The crash involving an Arizona Department of Public Safety trooper occurred at about 8:30 p.m. on 19th Avenue and Grand Avenue.
Phoenix police officials revealed that a marked DPS unit drove north on 19th Avenue. However, an eastbound car that failed to stop for a red light struck the DPS unit.
Responders took the trooper to a hospital for precautionary reasons. Meanwhile, the second car’s driver also went to the hospital with injuries.
The crash remains under investigation and the intersection is restricted.
