Police Seek the Hit-And-Run Driver after Crash on Ocala Avenue in San Jose

San Jose, CA (April 7, 2022) – Thursday evening, two female pedestrians died in a hit-and-run crash on Ocala Avenue.

The fatal crash in San Jose happened at around 6:26 p.m. on April 7.

 San José Police said that a red pick-up truck was traveling westbound on Ocala Avenue in the No. 1 lane when it struck two adult female pedestrians, who were crossing the street in a marked crosswalk.

The driver, however, immediately fled the scene and was last seen traveling northbound on Capitol Expressway.

EMS then took the two victims to a hospital in critical condition but later died.

No other information is immediately available.
