2 Dead and Baby Injured in Highlands Car Accident on South Main Street
HIGHLANDS, CA (January 12, 2020) – Recently, two drivers died and an infant was injured in a head-on crash on S Main Street.
The HCSO units responded to the report of the fatal crash. Moreover, they confirmed that both drivers, a male and female adult, both died at the scene.
Meanwhile, responders transported an infant girl via Life Flight in critical condition.
According to reports, the male driver in a black 4 door Chevy Silverado headed south on S Main Street at a high rate of speed.
On the other hand, the female driver and the infant girl headed north on South Main Street. The authorities clarified that the child was properly restrained in the back seat behind the driver.
Then, the black truck went out of his lane and both trucks crashed head-on.
Also, reports noted that the male driver reeks of alcohol.
Due to the limited information available, the crash remains under active investigation.
