SAN YSIDRO, CA (April 12, 2022) – Sunday morning, two drivers suffered injuries in a rear-end crash on Interstate 5 and Dairy Mart Road.
 
The incident happened when a male driver and his female passenger drove a classic Ford Mustang. As they headed south on Interstate 5, a female driver of a Toyota CH-R rear-ended them.
 
Then, the Mustang driver lost control and went into the center divider wall.
 
As a result, the Mustang driver sustained a head injury. Meanwhile, his female passenger suffered no injuries in the crash.
 
Meanwhile, the Toyota driver pulled to the Dairy Mart Rd exit and blocked it.

Meanwhile, the Toyota driver sustained minor injuries and responders took her to a local hospital. Moreover, the Mustang driver refused hospitalization.
 
Furthermore, the Toyota driver admitted that she had looked down at her phone. However, when she looked up, the Mustang was already in front of her.
