2 Dead in Devastating 2-Vehicle Crash on 47th Avenue [Glendale, AZ]

Alaina Gallegos and Eliseo Ochoa Dead after Crash on 47th Avenue and Northern Avenue in Glendale

Glendale, AZ (September 26, 2023) – Early Tuesday morning, 34-year-old Alaina Gallegos and 32-year-old Eliseo Ochoa died in a 2-vehicle crash on 47th Avenue.

The fatal crash happened around 4 a.m. on September 26.

Reportedly, a woman and her passenger died after driving 80 miles per hour in a 25-mile-per-hour zone before running a red light and causing a two-vehicle crash near 47th and Northern avenues, near Apollo High School in Glendale.

The driver of the other vehicle suffered only minor injuries but was taken to a hospital for treatment. Video footage from the scene shows that one of the vehicles came to a stop on the grounds of the high school and damaged the fence.
