FRESNO, CA (October 25, 2022) – Monday afternoon, two women died in a traffic crash on Russell Avenue and Shields Avenue.
 
The incident happened at around 4:30 p.m. on Russell and Shields Avenue.
 
According to reports, a westbound Toyota failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a big rig.
 
Moreover, responders pronounced two female occupants of the Toyota, dead at the scene while its driver suffered major injuries. Also, officers said that the big rig driver sustained minor injuries in the collision.
