2 Killed and 3 Hurt Car Collision near Lincoln Avenue in Anaheim
ANAHEIM, CA (March 23, 2020) – Friday afternoon, two unidentified victims were killed and three were injured in a car collision on Belinda Circle.
California Highway Patrol received reports of the crash around 2:00 p.m. Dispatchers arrived to the scene on the Belinda Circle and Lincoln Avenue intersection.
According to reports, an eastbound white Dodge Charger drove past a red light on Lincoln Avenue and collided with a Honda Civic.
Due to the impact of the collision, the Honda driver and his front-passenger suffered life-threatening injuries. Emergency personnel later pronounced them dead on scene.
Meanwhile, medics transported one backseat passenger of the Honda to UCI Medical Center for further treatment of injuries. However, there has been no update on their current condition.
Moreover, the 17-year-old Dodge driver and his 17-year-old male passenger both suffered injuries in the collision. Paramedics took them to the hospital for treatment.
At this time, authorities do not believe that drugs and alcohol played a role in the collision. However, the crash remains under active investigation.
