2 Dead 1 Injured in Rudsdale Street Hit-and-Run Collision [Oakland, CA]

Oakland, CA (March 18, 2022) On Wednesday, 2 men were killed and another was injured in the Rudsdale Street hit-and-run collision.

Police say that the fatal incident happened at around 8:45 p.m. at Rudsdale Street and 76th Avenue, one block south of International Boulevard.

Authorities attempted to stop a vehicle on 76th Avenue but the 37-year-old driver from Oakland did not stop.

Police did not chase after the vehicle, as it drove towards the south of 76th.

Moreover, the vehicle then collided with an eastbound car on Rudsdale.

The collision killed 2 of the other vehicles’ occupants and injured the 3rd person.

Meanwhile, the suspect driver attempted to flee the scene on foot, but ultimately police caught and arrested him.

Police are investigating the crash and have not released additional details.
