2 People Hospitalized after Tucson Car Accident on Speedway Boulevard

 
TUCSON, AZ (June 18, 2020) – Early Monday afternoon, two people suffered critical injuries in a two-car crash on Speedway Boulevard.
 
The Tucson Police Department responded to the two-vehicle crash at about 1:30 p.m. on Speedway Boulevard between Van Buren Avenue and Craycroft Road.
 
The TPD revealed that responders transported the driver of one of the cars to the hospital with critical injuries. Meanwhile, they also took a passenger of one of the cars to the hospital with serious injuries.
 
After the crash, the roads closed in both directions. However, Speedway Boulevard reopened at around 6:00 p.m.
 
Furthermore, the police advised motorists to expect heavy delays due to the prolonged traffic restrictions.
