2 Critically Injured in 6-Vehicle Crash on 51st Avenue [Glendale, AZ]

Glendale, AZ (March 11, 2024) – Three people were transported following a multi-vehicle crash on 51st Avenue Saturday night.

Emergency crews received the 6-vehicle crash report at 7:20 p.m. on March 9 near the intersection with Glendale Avenue.

Two of the people transported were suffering from critical injuries, while the other incurred minor injuries. The patients were occupants of two vehicles involved.

Meanwhile, investigators said the person at fault wasn’t at the crash scene but was later located and taken into custody. Officers added that speed played a role in the collision.

Troopers closed the intersection for almost 11 hours, and it reopened at 6:30 a.m. Sunday.
