5 People Hospitalized after Chain-Reaction Crash Along Sebastopol Road
Santa Rosa, CA (September 2, 2021) – On Thursday night, two crash incidents along Sebastopol Road left five people injured.
Santa Rosa police reported that the two collisions happened on September 2 along Sebastopol Road at about 8:20 p.m.
According to the report, a BMW sedan was going east on Sebastopol when the first collision took place on Stony Point Road. Then, the driver continued and fled the incident however, it crashed into a GMC pickup.
The pickup was going west on Sebastopol and turned south onto Burbank Avenue when it collided with the BMW.
Due to the impact of the collision, the pickup overturned.
The three occupants of the BMW including the driver suffered critical injuries from the crash. Officials identified them as a boy, a girl, and a man in his 20s. Furthermore, police confirmed that the juvenile male was driving the BMW.
Meanwhile, the two occupants of the pickup sustained minor injuries. Medics also transported them to a hospital for treatments however, there have been no updates regarding their conditions.
Authorities asked motorists to avoid the area.
