Injuries Reported in Walnut Auto Accident on East Valley Boulevard and North Grand Avenue

 
WALNUT, CA (May 9, 2022) – Sunday morning, two children suffered injuries in a crash on East Valley Boulevard and North Grand Avenue.
 
The incident happened at about 1:50 a.m. on East Valley Boulevard and North Grand Avenue.
 
According to reports, two vehicles crashed and one of them veered into a fire hydrant. As a result, water spewed nearly 100 feet in the air from the damaged hydrant.
 
Meanwhile, officers confirmed that four people occupied one of the vehicles. Then, two juveniles sustained critical injuries and required hospitalization. Moreover, the two other occupants remained in stable condition with minor injuries.
 
Also, the driver of the other vehicle solely occupied the other car. Officers identified him as an adult male. Then, they detained him at the scene after receiving treatment for his injuries.
 
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continue to investigate the crash.
 
Moreover, the authorities haven’t clarified whether speed, drugs, or alcohol played a role in the crash.
