Horrific 2-Car Crash on 5th Street Hospitalizes Person [Camarillo, CA]

Person Airlifted After Head-On Collision on State Route 34

Camarillo, CA (July 22, 2023) On Friday afternoon, a person was airlifted after a 2-car crash on 5th Street, east of Wood Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the head-on collision happened around 5:15 p.m. on State Route 34, on a section of the road that cuts through unincorporated farmland south of Camarillo.

Reports say that the crashed caused major injuries to a person, a Ventura County helicopter transported the patient to Ventura County Medical Center.

CHP Is investigating the head-on collision and has not released additional details at this time.
