Disastrous 2-Car Collision on Highway 99 Kills 2 Drivers [Sutter County, CA]

Sutter County, CA (April 29, 2023) On Wednesday evening, a 2-car collision on Highway 99 left 2 drivers dead.

CHP says that the head-on crash happened around 8:30 p.m. on Highway 99 near Oswald Road, about 5 miles south of Yuba City.

Reports say that a 74-year-old Brentwood man driving a northbound pickup crossed into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with an SUV. Officials say that a 69-year-old Yuba City woman was driving the SUV.

Both drivers died at the scene due to the head-on crash, officials say that both drivers were the sole occupants of their respective vehicles.

Authorities are investigating the deadly 2-car collision and have not released further information at this time.
