Car Crash near 26th, P and S Streets, Driver Detained
Sacramento, CA (July 16, 2020) – Thursday evening, two bicyclists sustained injuries in a car crash near 26th, P, and S Streets. Suspected driver detained.
According to reports, the first crash occurred around 6:20 p.m. near 26th and P streets. Shortly after, a second crash was reported on 26th and S streets.
A neighbor told officers the driver got out of his car, looked at his second victim, and then walked down the street, yelling. Officers followed him and eventually got him in custody.
Meanwhile, both victims transported t a hospital in severe conditions.
Further investigation is ongoing to determine if drugs or alcohol are factors in the crash. None were identified at this time.
