15-Year-Old and 17-Year-Old Detained after Rialto Car Crash on Carter Street
RIALTO, CA (March 5, 2020) – Authorities arrested two teenagers after a police chase ended with a car crash on Linden Avenue.
The incident happened shortly before 11:00 p.m. when officers tried to stop a Chevrolet Camaro for unknown reasons. The driver failed to stop when authorities began the pursuit.
The police chase ended when the driver lost control of his vehicle near the intersection of Linden Avenue and Carter Street and crashed into the side of a house, Romero added.
Those involved remained uninjured. However, the collision caused serious damage to the building.
After the pursuit, authorities apprehended an unidentified 15-year-old driver and his 17-year-old passenger.
It’s still unknown whether the collision will make the authorities create charges.
The surrounding area on Linden Avenue was closed during preliminary duties. Authorities are still investigating the collision.
