2 Airlifted after Car Accident on Malibu Canyon Road [Malibu, CA]

2 Injured in Malibu Car Accident

 
MALIBU, CA (July 23, 2019) – Two people sustained injuries in a car accident on Malibu Canyon Road on July 19.
 
Police did not release many details regarding the accident. However, the incident happened before 5:00 p.m. on Malibu Canyon Road, just north of Tunnel No. 1.
 
Responders transported two patients to Pepperdine University. However, they eventually transferred them by helicopters to a hospital.
 
The two patients are now in stable condition.
 
It’s still unclear whether there’s a person who needs rescuing from the teetering car or how close it came to falling.
 
The incident shut down both directions of the Malibu Canyon Road for more than an hour.
