DUI Car Crash on State Route 18 Severely Injures Two
Tiger Mountain, WA (January 1, 2021) – On Friday, two adults and 4 kids were hospitalized after a DUI car crash on State Route 18.
In a press release, Washington State Patrol said the driver lost control of the vehicle while traveling east on SR-18.
Moreover, the vehicle rolled, crossing all lanes of eastbound lanes.
The impact ejected the 39-year-old female driver and the 31-year-old male passenger. One of the children in the car seat was also ejected into the westbound lanes.
More so, both adults did not wear their seatbelts. Investigators said the driver had an “obvious odor of intoxicants.”
Medics transported all passengers to Harborview Medical Center.
The male passenger was in critical condition while the female driver sustained major injuries.
Furthermore, charges are still under investigation.
