Pedestrian Badly Hurt after Hit by Car on Linda Vista Road in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, CA (December 7, 2019) – A 19-year-old woman was seriously injured in a pedestrian crash on Linda Vista Road late Saturday afternoon, in San Diego.
The incident happened around 5:30 p.m., in the 5900 block of Linda Vista Road. Dispatchers arrived to the area shortly after.
According to the San Diego Police, the pedestrian was walking along the roadway when an eastbound 2016 Toyota Prius struck her.
As a result, the woman suffered a broken pelvis and other injuries, but not life-threatening. Paramedics took the woman to a hospital for proper treatment.
Alcohol did not appear to be a factor, police said. Further investigation is underway.
