19-Year-Old Woman Dies in Highway 101 Crash [Sunnyvale, CA]

Highway 101 Crash Fatality

Sunnyvale, CA (August 30, 2021) – On Sunday, a 19-year-old woman of San Jose lost her life in Highway 101 crash.

The fatal traffic crash took place at about 3:10 a.m. 

Investigating officers said the victim was driving a red Honda that drifted left and struck the center median of the freeway.

Then, it drifted right into the number 2 lane, and came to a stop. Finally, two other vehicles struck the Honda after that.

Unfortunately, the unidentified woman died at the scene.  and reopened shortly after 6 a.m.

Meanwhile, the officers are still investigating the cause of the Highway 101 crash. They do not believe that drugs or alcohol contributed to the fatal crash
