19-Year-Old Stone Wickham Dies in Lincoln Road DUI Collision [Poulsbo, WA]

Poulsbo, WA (July 27, 2022) On Sunday, 19-year-old Stone Wickham of Poulsbo died and another person was injured in a DUI crash on Lincoln Road.

Police say that the fatal crash happened Sunday evening at the intersection with Pugh Roads.

Reports say that a Dodge Ram pickup collided at high speed with the driver side of a Toyota Prius.

Moreover, the pickup sustained front-end damages, while the Toyota’s driver’s door side suffered severe damage.

The driver of the Dodge was a 28-year-old from Bainbridge Island. Meanwhile, Wickham was driving the Prius, he has an unidentified passenger who suffered injuries as well.

Paramedics transported the injured passenger to a hospital, while officials pronounced Wickham dead at the scene.

Additionally, police say that the Toyota damages indicate a collision at a high rate of speed in a 25 mph speed zone.

Also, witnesses heard sounds of a speeding vehicle on Lincoln Road prior to the crash.

Authorities say that the Bainbridge Island driver, show signs of driving impaired and refused to participate in field sobriety tests.

Furthermore, officials arrested the suspect driver for suspicion of vehicular homicide. Police booked him at Kitsap County Jail and his bail is set for $500,000.
