Andre Hill Arrested After Fatal Crash Near Clovis Avenue
SELMA, CA (September 27, 2019) – Olivia Mendoza, 19, was killed in a DUI crash on Mountain View Avenue on Friday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near the intersection of Clovis Avenue just after 7:00 PM.
Based on a report, 31-year-old Andre Hill, Jr., ran a stoplight and crashed his Baltimore, Md. semi-truck into a car driven by the victim.
Officers reported that Hill couldn’t walk a straight line and was believed to be high on marijuana. He also failed a sobriety test. CHP officers arrested him for gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and other charges. His bail is set at $98,500.
