18-Year-Old Hesperia Woman Dies in Walnut Street DUI Collision
Hesperia, CA (April 26, 2022) On Monday, 19-year-old Nicolas Farino was arrested in a DUI crash on Main Street, that killed an 18-year-old woman from Hesperia.
According to the Hesperia Sheriff’s Station, the fatal crash happened around 9:38 p.m. at the intersection with Walnut Street.
Reports say that the Arizona resident was on a 2002 Dodge Ram that crashed into the passenger side of a 2005 Jeep Liberty.
Paramedics pronounced the Jeep driver dead at the scene. Authorities have not revealed her identity pending notification of her kin.
Meanwhile, Farino sustained minor injuries along with his and his 18-year-old and 16-year-old passengers. Paramedics took them to a hospital.
Authorities say that Farino was driving recklessly before the crash. Additionally, officials found him to be driving impaired.

Deputies booked him into the High Desert Detention Center for PC 191.5.
The Hesperia Major Accident Investigation Team closed Main Street from Walnut Street to Rock Springs Road as they process the scene.
