State Route 509 Collision Injures Two
Tacoma, WA (January 24, 2022) – On Sunday, an 18-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man, both from Tacoma, sustained injuries in a DUI crash on State Route 509.
Officers said their vehicle drove off an overpass on the freeway and landed on Interstate 705.
The paramedics team rushed them to St. Joseph’s Medical Center.
Washington State Patrol arrested the 21-year-old male driver on suspicion of driving under the influence. He’s facing vehicular assault charges.
