18-Year-Old Passenger Killed in Suspected DUI Collision on Columbia Way [Vancouver, WA]

Vancouver, WA (June 6, 2023) – On Sunday night, an 18-year-old passenger sadly died following a suspected DUI collision on Columbia Way.

The authorities responded to the solo-vehicle crash at about 9 p.m. to the 3000 block area wherein the speeding vehicle struck a tree and ejected its 21-year-old driver and passenger.

Immediately, the medical team transported the driver to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries while the passenger died at the scene.

Investigating officers said they believe alcohol and speed are factors in the fatal crash. Officers are still investigating.
